Again we do it for the people with the love of tacos shared on our lively Tuesdays. We do it for you people that like us look forward to our delicious treasured food and hot sauces on Tuesdays. Although we were not excited to revisit this place initially today on woublers birthday so has it. Any ogs to our blog know about the very first distasteful event that occurred at fuzzy tacos on fowler. We ordered a gaggle of chicken tacos that we deemed disgusting.

Fast forward a year later after having countless tacos and having many many places under our belts. Having climbed inferno lineups and flights of hot sauces and delved between small tucked away corners of Tampa to the highest of high end tacos. We know what the fuck we’re talking about when it comes to tacos is what I’m trying to tell you.

So we risk it all for the biscuit/taco and give the place another shot. I stayed and woubler followed suit way the hell away from any chicken basic tacos. We had a lineup of mahi mahi, shredded carnitas, spicy pork, and fajita chicken. They had a choice of two Hot sauces an original and an extra hot (both of us loved the extra hot of course) and they came out tasting not like what we expected.

With a goblet of Jai alai and the juices of the taco streaming into his mouth after a disc golf win earlier woubler looked like a happy lad on his birthday. We felt like it completely turned our opinions around whether it was us being more used to authentic tacos or just the plain chicken being disgusting we have yet to find out but it was inspiring. We plan to now go back and give good ole Don Julio a second redeeming chance which again ogs to the blog will know we wanted to like more than anything we just didn’t like his tacos one bit.

now that that’s out there guess what my Xmas presents came finally from woubler and you can probably take a guess as to what they entailed. Hot stuff. Some ungodly hot mustard, beef jerky infused with reaper peppers, and pepper seeds to grow some of our own extreme pepper plants (ghost and chocolate whatever).

On to the juicy reviews we did an in house taco Tuesday with fosters and shock top with fresh orange slices as beverages. We Uber eatsed from a restaurant called tequila Mexican and grill in Temple terrace very straightforward name I might add. 9 tacos total 3 beef, 3 pork, 3 steak strips. Maybe on the mid price tier but Uber eats can get expensive fast as we all know.

We give the tacos a 4/10 for authentic it came with some nice pico and beans with the premium set of tacos but it was mostly a vassal for trying hot sauces. My mouth was an inferno most of the night our hot game has been on point. More guest stars coming soon to the show lots of celebrities want to get on here.

chips and salsa we give a 7/10 not bad at all for their nicely done chip tastes and middle of the line salsa plus a decent guac. If you like authentic tacos you’d enjoy trying this place once. Well until next week so long I’m still nursing a taco hangover two days later.

So it’s been a few weeks and taco Tuesday life was not put on hold. We found that mekenitas and I had to take the gif there the next week and we’ve been at that same place 3 weeks in a row.

Today we tried something new and went with senior tequilas over in carrolwood. Very mainstreamy vibes but solid taco Tuesday deals.

They had dollar fifty tacos 5 dollar margs and a tasty stuffed jalapeno appetizer.

Chips and salsa we’re giving a 6/10. Tacos get a 5/10 nice size lots of cheese and okay flavors. Hot sauce was an 8/10 for a restaurant quite robust and hot hot hot.

So I’m sitting at the angry chair brewery here with woubler 0.2 miles from mekenitas Mexican restaurant with woubler. We were so wrong about ciccios being the best. If ciccios is a 10 this place was an 11..

Amazing $2 tacos, spectacular appetizers and drinks and what do you know walking distance to delicious beer.

Chips and salsa on point 7/10 chips were chewy but we’ll seasoned. Tacos 10/10 does not get any better than that my God the pulled pork was amazing. And hot sauce 10/10 habenero ginger was the best we’ve had at a restaurant not a taco stand.

allllright let’s get to it another taco Tuesday under our belts and this one was something special. We had a guest star me shrank wrap himself join us on another taco Tuesday adventure. So we start off our night with a pre game couple beers and some spin dip to get the taco juices and senses going. Then we run over pick up our guest star and head over to the classic la taqueria de nepal. Really a hole in the wall classic taco Tuesday truck where you can expect delicious tacos for good value as they like to call it in the sales world. As always it was a treat the authentic tacos go down like draino and we left quite happy. 8/10 on the food truck scale easily with a 7/10 for the hot sauces super delish.

Then we head over to the piece de resistance the angry chair brewery which had been said to be the best brewery in Tampa and for arguments sake I can see where they’re coming from. 9/10 on the beer scene the bananas in the pajamas beer taking the cake for sure. Welcome back everyone to another wonderful night of taco Tuesday this is what we look forward to at the end of a long Tuesday. We ended up keeping it in house this week and kept it relatively simple.

The ingredients used this week were pico de Gallo, chicken, nacho cheese shells, cheese, sour cream, and hot sauces. Nice and simple yet oh so tasty one of our best in house taco Tuesday yet. Between the ample amount of appetizer hummus and beer and the tacos themselves I am going to have to give the experience an 8/10.

So we went across the street again to the tavern on the corner and bad news bearrs folks we found out that they are not doing unique different tacos every week anymore… The ones that they had were a beer cheese chicken tacos with tomato’s on them. Too much chicken to put it politely.

The hot sauce was a 0.5 out of 10 with a weak 800 scollville if we ever go back we need to sneak our own in. The tacos were a 4/10 and the only redeeming factor of the place was the atmosphere the brie cheese and strawberry jam with crackers appetizer andddddd the beer menu. I had a sweet baby Jesus peanut butter Porter woubler had a liter wheat beer that he downed quite well.

So the pepper plants have finally come to fruition the first two peppers going into a centerpiece of a home made hummus. I’m imagining the sky is the limit from now on for the next hummus interactions and I am excited for what is to come on that front. With home brewed beers from one of my co workers to supplement the hummus we properly pregamed Our taco Tuesday outing.

We went back to a previous blog pieces restaurant at vallertas dollar taco deal on Tuesday and Wednesdays… very tasty tacos for the price and nice hot sauces supplied to go with it especially an extra hot habenero sauce to give the old tongue a little tingley on it. Solid place also frequented by the gif for many moons.

So I missed last week’s blog I will be writing a short summary of that take out Tijuana flats tt and deep diving in a little authentic taco place that we found today

Last week was great with the usual plate of nachos two tacos chips and queso and dessert from t flats. Always a solid pick for a basic taco Tuesday and I was quite satisfied shout-out to woubler for putting that one together .

Today we found ximenas Mexican restaurant far southeast from our location down next to gaspars bar fire house Temple terrace area just south of busch. For a small authentic restaurant with two food trucks parked outside of it we were decently satisfied.

While listening to Spanish tv version of ninja warrior we feasted on some nice chips and salsa 4/10 and had 4 different tacos. Pollo steak another steak and pork skins… the tacos were decent the steak one being the shining light definitely a 4/10 on the tacos aswell. We wrapped up the night getting flash freezed nitrogen ice cream and enjoyed each other’s company another successful taco Tuesday under our belts .

Here it is everyone the place you’ve been promised for so long and we’ve been wanting to blog about….the one….. the only …. Cicio Cali 10/10 Tampa taco spot as we know it! With the deals of $2 gourmet tacos and cheap drinks this is the epitome of what this blog is all about. The only thing that could push this place to an 11/10 would be a hot sauce bar with different types of sauces from around the world.

Woubler and I joined by that one guy again ordered the usual one of every taco on the menu. You have everything from a meat free millennial taco to a sweet and salty Thai steak taco there is something for everyone here. Just bite after bite of delicious taco and you will leave here happy with a full belly.

A new edition to this place is a cute little cupcake store right next to it that has fancy cupcakes for sale that we had to dabble in which were delicious.
