Romeo and juliette tacos

Betrayel and secrecy are the core values of this taco Tuesday. A little bit of back stabbing one might say with a sprinkle of drama.

Woubler quoted a busy week this week so we had to improvise and bring on said juliette into the scene for this week.

Featuring home cooked double the price lean meat and gluten free spinach tortillas we went ahead and did a secret taco night together. It was pretty solid supplementing them with actual spinach sour cream cheese and hot sauce we had a nice night.

Keeping it brief and to the point 8/10 for the chips and salsa some long thin chips and restaurant style good and gather tacos. A 6.6/10 for the tacos could’ve used more toppings (they were better with plain hard shells than the tortillas. To finish off 7/10 for the wine that we had a Pinot and a cab to round off the night.

Day after Cinco

Adaptation. The art of taco Tuesday during the covid pandemic involves sometimes having taco Tuesday fall on a different day in this case a Wednesday after Cinco. We full sent on a pallet full of Tijuana flats again. Options including 3 tacos a piece, queso, and two dessert options with cookie dough chocolate dipped cinnamon churros shennanigans.

The piece de resistance of this tt was a taco starting from first bite to last with three different sections of hot sauces. Gator hot sauce which has a blend of the 5 hottest sauces in the world trying to get into the Guinness world record book. Secondly the middle section had a scorpion morugula pepper sauce just saying that out loud makes your mouth boil and we finished it off with a voodoo death princess sauce that is also scorching.

We had brewskis across the board including purple haze summer shandy Corona premier and a mich ultra. We watched some professional disc golf had some good laughs and called it a Wednesday. This was after a day of fishing and disc golf almost getting arrested and the usual so it brought it to a close nicely.

Ratings we have a 9/10 on hot sauces lying around. 7.5/10 for chips and queso and an 8/10 for the overall taco experience. Please follow us on insta @blackicet and keep slinging them tacos we love hearing all your comments and thanks for the support because of you we can keep doing what we do. Sometimes I don’t want to eat all those tacos some weeks but we do it for your love. Thanks again

Quarantine tacos

As I bask in the morning after glow of a good taco Tuesday I can’t help but be grateful that during these times we still have access to the important things in life. Beer. Tacos. Friendship. The three pillars other than the hot sauce, queso, and beer; pillars that are most important for a taco Tuesday. Why is beer part of both sets of pillars you may ask? As we discussed while eating tacos last night about getting on a sailboat for 10 years the most important part is where we would store all the beer that’s why.

Anyways I digress we ordered a small cows worth of food from Tijuana flats with Uber eats and ate it all. Two sets of quesadillas, tacos, and the dessert churro cookie dough things that you can dip in queso or chocolate depending how freaky you’re feeling. Normal lineup of hot sauces that I can feel rumbling in my tummy still lots of habenero and we did a last dab hot sauce taco that got us sweating and mute for a few minutes. Beers were a there stooges mixture of summer shandy, strawberry lime cider from plant City, and mich ultra. It was brought up we are going to do a future blind taste test between yuengling flight and mich ultra so look forward to that.

Ratings we’re gonna have to go with a 9/10 for an order in house taco Tuesday during quarantine. Chips and queso nice baseline of 7/10 beer is a tie 7/10 tacos 7/10 hot sauces 7/10. Thanks for reading and following us as always through the journeys of tt. We hope everyone is finding ways to do their own tt in these times and wish you all well. Feat the woubler

Oh my lawdy was this a great week for the taco Tuesday books. In house taco Tuesday featuring bacon and the new yuengling flights which seem like an equivalent to a mich ultra. Reaper chicken tossed on some shells with tomato, lettuce , sour cream, bacon , and of course the hot sauce to bring it together.

We had a good guest feat hot sauce from woubler little brother with the scorpion morugula pepper inside of it quite the tasty spice. As our chips and dip choice segment this week we had a Doritos taco flavored chip with.mild guacatillo sauce to cool things down.

The best dish of the night was a new dish a jalapeno cream cheese poppers dipped in smack my sweet ass and call me Sally and sour cream mixture . My God were those extremely good cooked on the stove with some olive oil I had them again for breakfast this morning and am hoping that they come back for another appearance.

Ratings wise as a first time in home woublers place tt I’m going to have to give it an 8.5 /10 actually a 9/10 because of the disc golf opening at the end of the night. We both order around 10 to 13 discs mostly a mystery and opened them while letting our mouths cool and throwing back some beers. I’m going to tag people I know who correspond with the name of the disc in my opinion to help promote the blog on our ig. @blackicet to help get that going stronger.

Chips and dip 5/10. Hot sauces 7/10 and tacos 8/10 room for improvement but delish nonetheless thanks for reading and keep slinging them tacos. We read all comments and respond to inquiry emails . -m and a

The wouble chicken tacos

Sooo we’re not talking about a dance move here but instead the saying of why not cook everything you eat with reaper mustard seasoning. Some delicious chicken today sponsered by our main squeeze marinated in lime and idareyoustupit mustard and of course the go to toppings of every in house tt. We had tomato, three bags of cheese, sour cream, a plethora of hot sauce, beer , and something that deserves a sentence in the next paragraph.

taco salad. This isn’t a iteration of Moe’s taco bowl whatever bleh bland nothingness. This is again a half a bottle of cigar City jalapeno hot sauce reaper mustard and lime chicken. We were sweating out of our eyeballs and our assholes were pulsating in anticipation for the next day even with a pre game of tums.

Ratings wise we have a 8.5/10 for in house a 7/10 for beer with viking, strawberry, and cactus. Hot sauces 8/10 we were feeling it. None of this is possible without you fans keeping us going thank you so much don’t forget to follow us on insta @blackicet and let’s keep going with the tuesdaze.

Came for pepper beer left with perfection

So after a long and arduous day of playing disc golf and eating shrimp we rolled out a classic taco Tuesday maneuver. We went over to the taco stand at the edge of 41 and Fletcher at the gas station, and went over to angry chair brewing to enjoy some delicious craft beer while consuming tacos.

We asked for hot sauce and they delivered with some fresh habnenero that still has my lips burning at 4 am the next day believe it or not. With a three different meat variety one was not left wanting for any more flavors and it was on point food wise this tt.

the true winnings on this day was some of the beers we had. There was orange marshmallow, crisp blueberry, chocolate vanilla cherry, Oreo Stout ,you name it. Tacos are getting rated 7/10 for a food truck; 10/10 for the beers; 7/10 for the hot sauce; 9/10 overall tt experience.

we were talking over plans of new tacos to try we still need to get to Rocco’s tacos and things we’ll be doing for the blog. Don’t forget to follow on Instagram to know when we post @blackicet and thank you in advance for your continued support of the blog we will be responding to any comments or email. Crack pot

So for Christmas I got this little old thing called a crockpot and it when ahead and took our at home taco Tuesday to a new height when it comes to shredded chicken. I’ve never had such a juicy tasting shredded chicken taco before in my life it put all the taco restaurants to shame sadly.

We went all in and tried a plethora of hot sauces and even went so bold as to put all the hot sauces I own on one taco. Talk about pain the next day my God not looking forward to that. So back to the tacos and we had the nacho cheese shells, sour cream, shredded cheese and lettuce and hotness sauces galore.

We had two separate craft beers and 3 kinds of chips. Lime, sea salt, and jalapeno. Medium salsa with queso and I have to say this is a crazy amount of shit of tacos.

Ranking wise 8.5/10 for an in home taco Tuesday 8.5/10 for the tacos themselves and 5/10 for the chips and toppings annnnnnd 8/10 for the brewskis.

Please follow us on insta @blackicet let’s keep the taco Tuesday tradition going and we love you long time

Grenade

Driving Lamborghinis. Throwing frisbees across mini lakes. Drinking whiskey gingers to pre game. Though these were done on taco Tuesday this week we all know these aren’t the cornerstones of what it means to have a taco Tuesday. Tacos, chips and salsa/queso, and hot sauces. Heck throw beer in there too but these are the actual cornerstones of a true taco Tuesday.

We delved into a classic order ahead Tijuana flats where we picked up 3 tacos each 2 soft one hard, appetizer sour cream cheese bites, and the good old dessert bites with chocolate dip. We had the tools now it was time to go to work.

Woubler and I had an array of food and sauces spread out before us with winter snap Sam Adams and cactus fruit lime mich ultras as a supplement. Where the title came from this week you might be wondering… Well long story short we tried some new hot sauces that came in containers shaped as a grenade that I was too afraid to fly on a place with so had to be driven down to Florida from Illinois.

Hot. Hot hot hot. Just like in college when you take off the white cap on the liquor bottle so it pours faster we did the same with this hot sauce and that was our first fatal mistake. As I’m still in recovery from my fire volcano poop that I had to take a shower after it was so taxing I know how good that hot sauce actually was.

A nice slow burn and truly got the sweats going for both of us. We snuck in some last dab and other habnenero sauces and called it a day. We’re gonna give t flats a 5/10 for tacos, 6/10 for that new appetizer 6.5/10 for the new grenade sauces and a 7.5/10 for the overall taco Tuesday experience.

Coming in at the end here again as usual follow us on insta for the blog @blackicet and let’s keep it going with the feedback and support. Chow for now.
